John McDonnell, B Sc (Hons), PMP (email)

John is a highly experienced, results-orientated programme and project manager.  He has a demonstrated ability to quickly achieve required business outcomes and to develop close and productive working relationships with multiple stakeholders. John worked for over 20 years with Accenture, in a variety of consulting, quality, process improvement and information technology leadership roles.  He has a successful management and delivery track record on multiple projects with both public and private sector clients, and is a Project Management Institute certified Project Management Professional.  John also served for a period in the early 1990s as a volunteer teacher in the semi-arid north west of Kenya, seeing at first hand the challenges in ensuring a clean, safe, water supply in a developing country.  John was engaged by Aqua-Nu in 2009 to provide programme and project management support to the company.



Anne Spanton LLB (Hons), AIIRSM

Legal Advisor, Shareholder and provides services to Aqua-Nu

Anne is a lawyer of Prisma Associates Limited a company in the UK, outsourcing legal advice, corporate governance and health and safety advice to a portfolio of corporate clients. Anne has more than 24 years experience within the legal profession and 15 years experience advising organisations of all sizes on legal, corporate governance and health & safety issues. Anne works with a number of leading companies in their field, such as Railcare Limited, Marioff Limited and Rail Door Solutions Limited, as well as many SME's. Through its corporate clients Prisma Associates also handles substantial projects involving major organisations including BAe Systems, Transco and Amersham Plc. Anne Spanton also wrote a regular column for ECN (Electrical Contracting News) for over two years, offers extensive legal skills and knowledge to companies. Anne offers her expertise in turning complex legal, corporate governance and health & safety issues into simple solutions also negotiating contractual and other legal issues designed to minimise the risk to directors and their business assets, improve efficiency and enhance company performance. The aim of Prisma Associates is to keep everyone in the boardroom safe.



Sean McCormack BSc (Hons) Principal of CADPAC

Sean is the Principal of Cadpac Limited, a company which he formed in February 2000 after several years experience in companies such as Black & Decker, Donnelly Corporation (now part of the Magna group) and other large companies. Over the years, Sean has gained a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics & Computing to complement other qualifications gained in Production Engineering, Design and also Mechanical Engineering. This superior Product Design service is now recognised as one of the premier companies in the field working within a full 3D CAD environment. Cadpac is in a position to offer companies a complete range of design services. These include Modelling, Surfacing, Photo-Realistic Rendering, File Conversion (STEP, IGES & DFX), STL File Generation, and has established strong links with toolmakers and prototyping companies. Use of Unigraphics, a high-end 3D CAD system, as supplied by EDS and supported by CAD Technologies Europe enables Cadpac to offer the latest in design facilities to bring projects irrespective of complexity to life. In early 2005 Sean was engaged by the Company to assist with the design of the prototype plus further research and development and design of other related products. Sean is an integral part of the core team.
 


Robert Verkerk BSc (Hons) MSc DIC PhD

Robert is an internationally acclaimed expert in agricultural, environmental and health sustainability, environmental toxicology, nutritional science and risk assessment. During the course of his work over the last 24 years, he has focused on a diverse array of issues ranging from environmental protection, to reducing pesticide and synthetic chemical inputs in homes and in agriculture, to the development of new methodologies for the assessment of natural product safety through to sustainable healthcare systems. Following his first degree in ecology, he spent some 10 years at Imperial College London, first as a student, undertaking both his Masters and PhD degrees there, before going on to some 7 years as a postdoctoral Research Fellow. He has worked extensively in Australia, Africa, Central and South East Asia, and has regularly acted as an advisor to governments and development agencies. In 2002, he founded the Alliance for Natural Health (ANH), a pan-European and international, non-governmental organisation dedicated to positively shaping the scientific and regulatory environment required to facilitate the future development of natural and sustainable healthcare. Dr Verkerk is currently the Executive & Scientific Director of the ANH, which has become one of the most prominent forces working to protect natural healthcare worldwide through its implementation of a diverse range of strategies based around the application of 'good science' and 'good law'. The ANH collaborates closely with some of the leading experts in the field of medicine, science and law worldwide to affect its objectives. Dr Verkerk has authored over 60 original articles in peer-reviewed journals, scientific symposia and special interest magazines, as well as several books. Two books relevant to the NOSG project include "The A-Z of Chemicals in the Home" (Total Environment Centre, Sydney, Australia, 1986) and "The Human Time Bomb" (Wellness Publishing, 2005). Dr Robert Verkerk, and his team from ANH Consultancy Limited, were appointed in early 2005, to oversee Science, Research and Development.

Patrick is the inventor of the Ultra High Flow Rate Ceramic filter who had the vision, invented the filtration technology and created the concept of the PURITYCAPSULE and ancillary products. He previously worked in the Irish Public Service for 14 years, until his early retirement. Patrick set up Aqua-Nu Filtration Systems Limited in 2004. Patrick has become an expert in water filtration and purification technologies and has immersed himself into the development of ceramics and water filtration.

Philip has more than 10 years experience as a Director running his own very successful company. Philip‘s key skills are dealing with people at all levels, with the energy, driving force and enthusiasm to bring a concept and vision to fruition whatever challenges, hurdles or difficulties appear. Philip was responsible for successfully launching a US Direct Sales company onto the Irish market and served on the executive advisory board for four years in the UK and Ireland.

Liam is a sales and marketing executive with a wide range of experience in the development and the promotion of existing and new ventures. Liam is a business post graduate of Trinity College Dublin with 25 years experience in the areas of management, marketing and sales, tax consultancy (K.P.M.G.) and teaching. Liam is a fellow of the Life assurance association of Ireland and has established and managed a successful financial services business for 15 years. Liam, through IDT Limited, has been involved with inventing, designing, and bringing to the market the innovative media packeting system.
